Description
Intense red ruby color with garnet shades; on the nose it reminds flowers, red fruits and wild berries, with light vanilla’s hints.
In the palate the taste is warm and full-bodied, with important but soft and gentle tannins. The long final sip is consistent with the nose and it persists on balsamic notes.
It’s perfect with meat with mushrooms or truffles, red grilled meat or juicy stewed meat.
An “autochthonous” Bordeaux-style blend mainly based on Montepulciano, with a touch of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. Our Montepulciano’s vineyards are exposed to the North and therefore they’re constantly refreshed by the breeze coming from the Adriatic sea. This results in a full-bodied red wine but also sober and delicate at the same time, which well represents the daily temperature excursions that are very pleasant for the grapes. The typicality given by the indigenous grapes is paired with the elegance of Cabernet, which gives to the wine also a touch of internationality. A perfect blend where each one of the three varieties gives its best characteristics: fruitiness, structure and territory are given by Montepulciano, Sangiovese has a great acidity and Cabernet donates softness and silkiness.
