Description
“Misco” is the ancient name of Musone, the river towards which our vineyards go down: “Tavignano’s vineyards”. But it’s also the “Selection” of musts (flower must), the wine to which we dedicate our greatest care, both during the harvest, with a manual selection of the grapes and manual harvesting in boxes, and while the pressing of the whole bunches, which is done gently and softly. This particular attention, given both to the grapes in the harvesting phase and while processing them, has the aim of obtaining products with particular delicacy, typicality and a long aging potential. Misco is a wine of great personality and elegance. At sight it’s straw-colored, bright and shiny. The nose recalls ripe fruit, sweet almond, acacia flowers, star anise, with citrus hints. Long persistent taste with sapid and mineral notes, it goes perfectly with great seafood dishes, medium-aged cheeses and white meats.
