Description
Even today the origin of this noble vine in the Marche region remains controversial.
“Verdicchio is a white grape that has a small berry, which shines more than any other. The bunches are small and compact. These vines are better in high places, not humid … The wine of this vine is better than any other white. It keeps for a long time, it is very clear, fragrant, sweet. ” Mambrino Roseo da Fabriano 1557
Villa Torre has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The aroma recalls fresh fruit, green apple and exotic fruits, also recalls broom flowers, hay and sweet almond. The taste is typical of Verdicchio with a slightly bitter aftertaste, good juiciness and roundness in the mouth. Ideal companion for appetizers, fish and shellfish dishes.
